About JW Dance

Established since 1990 JWDance is located in Miranda and Engadine within the Sutherland Shire.

The Academy at Miranda was the first studio to open in 1990. Due to the on going success and continuous growth of the Dance school a second Academy was opened in Engadine in the beginning of 2004.

The Director and Principal of JWDance, Miss Joanne Williamson, has been involved with dancing all her life. Joanne is fully qualified and registered with the Royal Academy of Dance, registration number – 502594.

Both Academies offer a large variety of dance styles for students ranging from as little as 2 years old through to adults. Whilst there are many type of dance routines and styles the Academy specialises in;

The Academy caters for students who wish to make dancing a profession and enjoy performing in Eisteddfods at the highest level of competition. It also caters for the recreational dancers who enjoy exercise and performing at a more casual level. There is also the opportunity to select a combination of classes for students wishing to do a variety of dance styles in a shorter time.
