Petite Performers Package

The Petite Performers Package is designed to give students aged 5yrs and 6yrs the opportunity to commence their dance studies and performance work over 3.5 hours a week. They are trained in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Acrobatics, Strength and Flexibility as well as taught a dance routine that will be performed in shows at a competitive level in Eisteddfods. This program is designed for the younger student who is interested in learning a variety of dance styles as well as preparing for Eisteddfods and performances. Students also have the option to learn a solo routine for Eisteddfods if they decide they would like to do this.

Compulsory classes for students aged 6 years and under

1.5 hours of Jazz/Tap and Ballet Combo

This lesson is an introduction of the three styles of dance that the students will expand on as they become older. It is a combined lesson allowing the younger student to experience a variety of dance styles in a shorter time. Students are not expected to do an hour of each style due to their young age and this will help them to achieve their goals without losing interest. The three styles of dance listed are extremely important for the child's future development in dance.

1 hour of Acrobatics/Strength and Flexibility

This lesson is an introduction to basic acrobatic skills which will be used in performances combined with basic strength and flexibility exercises to benefit the child with their technique and posture as well as preparing them for more difficult steps in the future.

1 hour of Performance Work

This lesson is purely choreography for Eisteddfods and Performances. We will be concentrating on 1 to 2 jazz routines that will be used throughout the year.

Fee Structure

The Petite Performer Package will be $26.00 per week based on the above compulsory lessons. This must be paid in two instalments for the term. The first instalment of $130 will be due on enrolment and you will be invoiced prior to the second instalment. If the term is not a ten week term, fees will be adjusted accordingly for the second invoice. Refunds will not be given on missed classes but may be made up on a different day during that week only. Fees credits cannot be on a different week or put towards private tuition. An additional $8.00 per hour or $10.00 per 1.5 hours needs to be added if you choose to do more classes other than the compulsory classes listed.
